I have come to the conclusion that the Europeans are far more ignorant of us than we are of them. Bush won fair and square in 2000 but they didn't understand.

Bush will hopefully lead Europe too and allow those who hate socialism and love freedom to feel they can express themselves openly.

France is the enemy of the US in my opinion, the rest of Europe that follows France are just tag alongs and could be shaped according to public opinion. If France was ever in trouble I would be willing to impeach a President who would send our boys to protect them.

The Leftist American elites fawn on the European elites and the EU elites view the nation through the prisms of their contafcts with our leftist elites and their media. I imagine that there was actually some genuine shock in the EU over this election. Many Euros that I know - at least those that have spent no time in America - expected Kerry to win in a Landslide. I have found them to be quite irrational about this.

Maybe after we bring freedom and democracy to the Middle East, we can do the same for Old Europe.
