Spector must be prevented from becoming the next Senate Judiciary Chairman.
We won the election by a massive turnout of the Republican base. We must not let a RINO thwart our victory.

Let him take his little stand on this issue.
Frist can just circumvent the committee and bring a nominee to the floor.
It's his right under Scottish Law, you know...

Spector must be prevented from becoming the next Senate Judiciary Chairman. This election is NOT DONE. At least we FReepers are not done yet. We must - absolutely must - ensure that Specter is not appointed Senate Judiciary Chairman.
I lack the kind of information needed to get something rolling. If anyone is knowledgeable about the appointment process and what we might be able to do to stop it, please post here.

What an arroagant SOB- if it weren't for GWB- he wouldn't have held his seat in PA. Ya know- if it meant we lost a RINO- I wouldn't mind if he went over to the Democrats. He IS one in deed and mind.

I figured Specter would try to make a power play.
How can somebody else become chairman?
Even if he tries to pull some crap, Dubya would be the real Senate Judiciary Comm chairman and would pretty much overpower him.

According to "The Peter Principle", it might be possible to move him sideways to another committee where he could do less damage.
