Better yet, Tom Brokaw nearly broke down in tears when NBC called Ohio for Bush. His voice cracked something awful, and his eyes glossed over.
It's obvious they witheld no other state calls based on provisional ballots. CBS and the others refused to call Ohio as a favor to the dems so they could more readily contest the election. CNN's screen headline today for the whole election is "Too Close To Call." Hardly the case when Bush has the popular vote by millions, and Ohio by 140,000.
Isn't Brokaw the one who said "we've won another one" when Gore took another state during the last election?
Despite their delusional self-aggrandizement these guys HAVE to admit that this election is a rejection of them, as well, since their clear recommendations were slapped down.
LOL-I was flipping channels, but CNN seemed the most in denial.....last time I looked they still haven't given Ohio to W.
I disagree, for all the crap Brokaw takes, and in many cases rightfully so, I think he played it relatively well. I watched NBC on and off all night because the Fox panel just seemed to drag on and they all seemed depressed right after the Drunk Estrich exchange
