There is a very good chance that Bush will get to appoint at least 3 Supreme Court Judges during his term. Yes, they plan to stay, but as we have seen with Rehnquist...sometimes health problems pop up unexpectedly and take the choice out of their hands. I look for him to step down soon. Several other Judges are getting up in years and could become ill and have to step down as well. We will see. One thing is sure...it will be the fight of a lifetime getting a conservative approved.

Do you think we could convince Arlen Specter to join the other team through these appointments? I don't trust that man.

I think we will see 3-4 SC Justices retire shortly. Some (the Conservatives) have been reluctant to do it while W couldn't get even exemplary judges appointed, others (the Liberals) were hoping that a Liberal President would be elected.

The situation can't get better for the Conservatives, and the Liberals aren't going to see a better situation for years, if ever.
