It was so weird. NBC and Fox call Ohio. CNN calls Nevada and then decides that New Mexico should be "green" like Ohio. Fox refuses to call Nevada or New Mexico. They're fatigued in Iowa, so they all go home, and now New Mexico staff is evidently going to take a break too.

It's almost like watching a soap opera.

Not "collusion", but otherwise I agree.

Why doesn't Fox, or MSNBC, find some stones?!

Bush WON Ohio. There's no question about this. He's won Nevada. Call the damn states!!

An excellent idea. The whole blogosphere, Drudge leading.

"Chicken MSM has no clothes, refuses to call election right in front of their eyes. Bush wins big 51-48, carries popular vote by nearly 4 million votes. Record total vote for a president. Carries entire south and west. Republicans gain in Senate, House. Kerry refuses to conceed, hides in legalese, won't face press."

"I just did what you suggested and emailed Mat Drudge asking him to call the election for Bush. I think everyone should follow your advice - nothing to lose - right?"

Matt did call it, he called it at 1:00am Had the headline up for about an hour

As disgraceful as leaving your constituents sitting there in drizzling 40 degree rain, because you're to chicken to come out and tell them what's happening. After all, they are just the 'little people."

As we were the "little people" tonight to Fox news. A captive audience who had nothing better to do than "go bowling," per Brit Hume. Acting as if they were peeved to have to work late, and suggesting the "exit poll problem" had something to do with the "bloggers."

They are the ones who have lost touch with reality. They don't want to report, they want to decide.

They forget that all the percentages the statisticians agonized over were real people who had taken their time to go vote. By not representing this election accurately for President Bush they insult themselves.

Next election it's FR all the way. TV is a dinosaur.

You are right, nothing to lose. If the MSM fumbles the ball that is their problem. You can bet that they won't let Drudge take credit for calling the election.

I went to bed at 2 am thinking that this would be over as New Mexico would be called for Bush. Now I get up and CNN has not called Ohio, New Mexico or Iowa for Bush. I am so fed up that I may never vote again!! The MSM is sickening. They are so afraid of the Dems.

I learned in 2k

I have note watched TV at all except for CSPAN speeches tonight.

I used FR all the way!

And assorted tracking sites in conjunction, with the occasional "Schaudenfreud " visit to DU to watch their empty heads implode.

It IS TOO collusion. I will bet you money. You want me to believe that Fox, NBC, and MSNBC give Ohio to Bush but not Nevada, and that CNN, CBS, and ABC gave Bush Nevada long ago, but not Ohio is just a coincidence??? Gimme a break.

Fox News is going DOWN. My husband was watching them. I was on the computer. I would check it out every now and then and their coverage was awful. I mean all the networks could have called Florida a lot earlier but they were scared to death to even though it was obvious that Bush had won! They just hate Bush...period.

"Congrats, Bush won, and we have hit the last nail in their coffin."

I wish that were true, but it's not gonna happen this soon.

Fox called 7 straight states for Kerry in the blink of an eye, and sat on states like Mississippi. They are whores.

We should never watch their putrid pseudo conservative offerings again. This is outright betrayal.

No, this is them flexing their muscles. You are right. It is an attempted coup by the media and Kerry.

It's not the media's job to "call it." That's for the electoral process.

You are technically correct but their stand makes watching network news completely meaningless because they have become irrelevant.

This is not about their patting Bush on the back for an obvious victory. It is about the press's deliberate repudiation of the majority vote in America. I'll go beyond that. This is the main stream media's repudiation of the democratic process.

This is a slap in the face to the VOTERS, not Bush.

All the MSM - and Fox too - is going down with Kerry and they know it - they are in shock and denial at being so wrong, at believing the exit polls and totally misreading the American people. They are out of touch with the real America and they are becoming totally irrelevant - and they know it.

The MSM has no credibility left - this is their last stand and they are prolonging it to keep their ratings up as long as they can because when their guy Kerry goes down, so do they. They sold their souls out to get Kerry elected, and they will pay a big price.

Kerry and his cohorts in the MSM are in their final death throes, and they're going down - big time.
