This is really great too. The destruction of the Democrats that began under Clinton continues and is building a major realignment in party control throughout the country.

I think GA needs a little gerrymandering.

Anyone know how Tom Price did in GA senate? He's an old school friend of mine.

Price ran for and won Isakson's US House seat.

This isn't going to make my very good (but unfortunately, liberal democrat) friend happy who lives there.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Really! My old pal's a congressman now?! Way to go Tom! I haven't seen him since college, around 1975. He's a great guy.

I've read conflicting reports that say Rep. Max Burns both won and lost. What happened in that race?

YES! I only moved to Georgia six months ago, and I love it here!

News reports say that Burns and Phil Crane in IL are the sole GOP House victims so far.

According to CNN Max Burns lost, unfortunately. Is there any other source claiming otherwise?

Congrats! In Texas it happened in 2002, and we had a grand time in the 2003 session! Passed pro-life bills that had been languishing for years.

I just noticed CNN withdrawn their of Max Burns loosing the race. They now have it as undecided. Though with 99% precincts they have Burns trailing by some 4600 votes.

I was raised on The Dukes of Hazzard, then I came across Gone With the Wind in my late teens which made Georgia my favourite state.

This evening it was the first state declared for the President by the B.B.C. add in this, and it's even more certainly the best of the 50.
