I know everyone is watching the big race, but things look pretty good for the Grand Old Party on the rest of the federal ticket. This agrees with what our sources at the NRCC and the NRSC tell us. BTW ... the Senate race to watch (desides that one in SD) is the Colorado race between Coors and Salazar. Our sources tell us GOP turnout is strong and they feel goo about a Coors victory.(12:54 PM)

Ping.
Dang, I meant "NRRC" and "NRSC" sources. Admin Mod, please change.
ugggghh. I meant "NRCC" and "NRSC". Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.
"glue"..or "goo_"...?..LOL...relax, we forgive you..your fingers must be on autopilot..
That ain't goo. It's just some beer from the keg what dried up on the floor.
I hope the Senate races go well. I'm a big fan of George allen.
I voted today in a heavily Republican area. Voted the same time for the past 8 years at the same place. This was the most packed I ever saw it, by 2 or 3x. I am likewise feeling very good about Coors chances, and, despite Zogby's poll, Bush's. Zogby doesn't know how to poll Colorad, as shown in 2002. This is a red state, getting reader thanks to Republicans (lots from California) moving here.
Just heard the El Paso County (Colorado) County Recorder (in charge of elections). 91,000 absentee and early voters already voted (big increase over prior years, and we have had early voting since 1996). He reported also that this is very heavy turnout (as I mentioned earlier at my own precinct). This is huge since El Paso has to offset Denver and Boulder. This may be the single most Republican county of over 300,000 in the country. Three military bases and the Air Force Academy. Over 100 Evangelical organizations. If we are getting that big of turnout, watch for a repeat of 2002 with Bush winning by around 7-9 and if that is the case, Coors is going to win.
We're in Douglas County, Colorado, also pretty conservative. My hubby had to wait in line for 1 1/2 hours last week in early voting! There were also long lines for early voting in Denver (more Rats there).
Hope you are right about El Paso County. My neice shook VP Cheney's hand in Colo Spgs yesterday. His visit was being spun as "Colorado is in play". I personally think he is trying to put Coors over the top. Salazar is a sleaze.
Figured that Denver would be busy. Let's hope that Douglass and El Paso County along with Northeast Colorado come out like they have beenso far. Beginning to get positive feeling.
My hubby and I voted 2 weeks ago, and picked up some groceries while we were there! About a 3 minute wait was all. It is still weird to us to vote in grocery stores, moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania.
That's where we voted - the neighborhood King Soopers!
Yikes, daughter voted at the Tattered Cover bookstore in downtown Denver early early this morning. It took three hours. She stayed and voted. First time in the booth. Always voted absentee before....college or business travel.
