I came back from voting less than a half hour ago. I live in Fairfax County in Northern Virginia, in Congressman Moran's district. I waited about half an hour to vote. The line was pretty long. I was surprised, since I got there shortly after the polls opened at 6 am. One person in the line said he had never seen the line this long at 6 am.

How were the lines? Pumped up people? Bush or Kerry people?

I live in Henrico (Richmond, VA). Same story here. Long lines and lots of Bush voters. One pro Bush vet starting yelling at a Kerry vet saying "I'm not voting for no traitor!" Good times.

People weren't really talking to each other too much, other than guiding people to the right line, since two precincts vote at the same school. The Republican and Democrat volunteers were out front as usual, passing out fliers and putting up signs. The Republican volunteer passing out fliers was this American of Asian decent, and I gave her a compliment as I was coming out. I didn't see any people in my age group (18-30), it was mostly people in their 30's or older.

Same high turnout in Chesterfield, VA...I was in a HUGE line before 6am. The lady in front of me said it was the biggest turnout she'd seen there in 20 years.
I think the faithful are rising up and saying ENOUGH to that put flowers in the guns liberal!

Just got done voting in North Royalton, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland) at 6:30am when the poll opened. The line was very long before the poll opened and was longer when I was done voting. Everyone was saying that they had never seen the line so long. The poll workers were checking registrations very carefully and there were signs posted that to even cast a provisional ballot, you must be in the correct precinct.
