Freep Alert tomorrow in Scranton/Wilkes Barre, Pa: ACT & Moveon at the Polls and their dirty tricks!

Posted on 11/01/2004 9:23:02 AM PST by God luvs America

We have had a group of Freepers keep tabs on what ACT and Moveon are doing locally (remember- keep your friends close and enemies closer).  We have also had a few attend their meetings and they are planning to do everything/anything to harass GWB supporters tomorrow and steal the election.  This includes loading up lines with decoys hoping the long wait will discourage people from voting in Republican areas (a tact the GOP is aware of and informing poll watchers to keep an eye on).  They have also said they are bringing Bush/Cheney t-shirts and will have people put them on then harass Kerri supporters (who will actually be their own decoy's rather then kerri supporters).

The following are e-mails that have been sent out to those that are involved or will be taking part in the ACT/Moveon operation:

Thursday- 10/28:

Hi Folks,  I hope you are all doing well.   Thought  you might like to have a copy of the directions to the ACT headquarters where we are heading on Nov. 2nd.  It is actually in Old Forge PA which is right in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. The Alexis Diner in Newburgh is on 9W right near where 9W intersects Interstate 84.

Sunday- 10/31:

Fellow Travelers to PA, Just in case you weren't sure whether our trip to Scranton really matters, consider this... Tomorrow, Monday Nov 1, Theresa Heinz Kerry will be speaking at Scranton High School while Bush will be near Pittsburg. Also MoveOnPAC is now redirecting their volunteers to the Scranton as well. This matters. See you Tuesday morning at 9:30am!

Saturday- 10/30 (from Moveon):

If you are already on your way to Pennsylvania, we can't wait to see you. If not, we truly hope you will be able to join us between now and Tuesday. As a reminder (and encouragement to come, if you're not already on your way), here are the details of your travel assignment: 106 South Bellevue Ave. Suite 205 Langhorne, PA 19047 Langhorne, PA 19047

"steal the election. This includes loading up lines with decoys hoping the long wait will discourage people from voting in Republican areas"

I have had a sense that this was going to be one of the dem. tactics to commit fraud tommorrow. In florida, for example, we have seen a number of Kerry surrogates pleading with dem. voters to cast early or absentee ballots. When I saw that I had a gnawing feeling that the strategy is for dems. to create chaos and confusion at the polling sites tommorow so that the lines will be long and that elderly voters will be intimidated by the carnival-like atmosphere. You may well have hit on the central issue that people need to be aware of. Bush voters should vote today if they are in early voter states in order to clear up the lines for tommorrow's voters.

"They have also said they are bringing Bush/Cheney t-shirts and will have people put them on then harass Kerri supporters (who will actually be their own decoy's rather then kerri supporters)."

It would be usefull if you could elaborate on this statement. How did you come about getting this info. If this is something these organizations are seriously thinking about carrying out, this could be big news.

Take your vid-cam, hide it in the car, pointed at the line. Don't get caught with it.

Simple...there was a mole at one of their meetings and on one of their conference calls. This strategy (sending in a mole) has been used by Protest Warrior with great results in the past, and I learned from them leading up to the RNC counter-protests in August.

You must remember; what a lot of these groups are doing is shipping in people from neighboring states into the swing states by setting up rides, coordinating schedules, etc.

In the past I've been able to Freep many Moveon events by just being on their mailing list and finding out where they are being held locally.

If you have any smoking gun evidence that moveon & ACT are coordinating these tactics, such as dems. dressing in b/c t-shirts and creating chaos in the polling place, it would be good to get this info. to the media outlets. While I believe what you are saying the news outlets will only follow up on this if you have solid evidence such as e-mails or tape recordings of these conference calls.

Intentionally interfering with people attempting to vote is a federal felony.

What you are saying is true but at this point the media could care less...a sympathetic local writer was called and he spelled out several scenarios as to why the press wasn't interested in the story:

1- what if we produced a tape...how would they know it was not a charade pulled by Bush supporters?

2- the media would rather report it AFTER THE FACT! Show a tape of a group planning to pull a stunt like this then a different tape of them actually pulling it.

The fact is the GOP is already aprised of this- I spoke with someone who is a poll watcher who went to a GOP meeting in which they were warned to look out for people purposely clogging up lines at the booths.

The only guys that might be interested enough to report this are National Review. They seem to have their ear to the ground about what's going on at the polling places - specifically their 'battleground' blog. Here is their e-mail for these kinds of tips. I would feel better if you e-mailed them about specific tactics that you have learned about. Here's the e-mail.

battleground@nationalreview.com

If it gets picked up there, it will get vaulted into the MSM.

I say arrest all of them, and sort the trouble makers out later at the police station.
