Interesting how they have to note that Cavuto is a donor to the Bush Campaign. I wonder if by that precedent they will disclose which candidate Dan Rather and their other anchors have given money too? I won't hold my breath.

With everything that cBS has done to undermine this President, they should just keep their pie-holes shut. All the alphabet networks and liberal rag newspapers have committed crimes in their reporting in my book.
To: NewMediaFan
Well, Kerry himself said leaders of other countries have TOLD HIM that THEY are FOR HIM. They want him to win. OBL is just one of them. WHY does that UPSET Kerry????

"Cavuto is more a commentator than a news anchor." Exactly! He has a one hour show with guests, opinion, feedback from veiwers and occassional humor. That's hardly a 'news anchor'.

Sure they are, Cavuto won't wear the Kerry button like Osama will.

Thankyou for the morning LAUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To: lady lawyer
Yeah, Cavuto has never claimed to be a Rather or Jennings. Nice of them to try to skew Cavuto's role at Fox.
To: lady lawyer
Cavuto is more a commentator than a news anchor. No, he is both. He reports the news and then he does the "My Word" segement at then end of the news show. He spends a lot more time reporting than commentating.

Neil was just voicing the opinion of what most of America thinks anyway...CBS is just out of touch with the average voter! You are RIGHT!! Let's FREEP Niel and Fox today and let them know what we feel!!!!

watch FNC drop Cavuto now. they are morphing into CNN. exactly. I barely watch Fox anymore, they are pandering to the left. I wish I had the money to have my own network. I would NEVER have a leftist on. They never shut up. I would just have cardboard cutouts of them. The MSM is 95% liberal and you would think FOX wouldn't pander and be like them. FOX is definitely not a joy to view. I admire Neal Cuvoto and Brit Hume.

Well if Bin had had a Kerry Button, I bet he would have been wearing it. He's got a Kerry yard sign up on the wall of his cave.

That's right. The very fact that he does "my word" is evidence that he has an opinion that is not hidden from the viewers. He's never claimed to not have an opinion. He expresses his opinion all of the time.

I agree that it's amazing that CBS is reporting on this, but honestly Neil should not have made that sort of comment.
It was a bit beyond the pale, truth be told. It's one thing to point out the similarity in OBL's talking points and those of Kerry/Moore, for example, but the "wearing a Kerry button" comment was inappropriate.

I have no idea what their problem is. It's not partisan. The whole reason the Usama video was sent now was to influence the Presidential election in Kerry's favor. Only an idiot or partisan democrat would think otherwise.
To: NewMediaFan
Neil Cavuto makes a dumb joke and the Dems go ballistic. So two days later they put Ed Rendell on Fox to say that the Bin Laden tape was a deliberate attempt to help Bush and that George Bush is the best recruiter Al Qaeda has ever had. And this was no joke!
Unbelievable.
