It would also be illegal to film people in line at Walmart, etc. without the store's permission, as even the parking lot is private property.

Really? You see it on the news all the time. Maybe they had permission. Anyway, I assumed this was past the 100 feet zone. My point was though that if you feel you need to be able to go in without anyone seeing you, why?

If they ask you to leave and you don't, then you are trespassing. You see it on the news all the time because usually the store owners don't care (free advertising) and they don't ask you to leave.
