Kerry 'Outraged' Over Bin Laden Tape Impact
NewsMax ^ | October 31, 2004 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 10/31/2004 6:42:49 AM PST by Kaslin

John Kerry said Sunday that he's "outraged" that anyone would think the re-emergence of Osama bin Laden on a terror video released Friday may hurt his chances in next Tuesday's election.

"I'm outraged that he has appeared," Kerry told ABC News anchor Peter Jennings. "I'm outraged that he inserts himself in any kind of way into the electoral process of America."

Asked about comments from both his campaign and team Bush suggesting that the bin Laden tape gives the president a big boost in the closing days of the campaign, Kerry told Jennings, "I think it's unfortunate that anybody puts Osama bin Laden into any political context in the United States' election." When reminded that his surrogates were the first to address the bin Laden tape in a political context, Kerry said, "Well, I don't want them doing that. I think that's wrong. I think that every American is outraged at the sight of Osama bin Laden, and anything that he says about the American electoral process."

In fact, minutes after al Jazeera aired the terror tape, Kerry himself politicized the news, saying that bin Laden's continued survival was the result of Bush "outsourcing" the hunt for the terror chief in December 2001.

HorseCr@p. He LOVED it! The Osama tape was a Kerrry campaign ad that could have been written by Michael Moore himself.

He's more worried about this affecting his chances of getting elected than if we should be expecting incoming.

Gad, does that speak volumes about John Kerry.

Obviously, bin Laden has no concept of how the American mind works.

Americans don't take kindly to being kicked around. Threatening us at this time just hardens our resolve to see his head on a pike.

Blatently parroting the Kerry talking points sunk any chance that Kerry might have had at winning.

Kerry can only blame himself for the reappearance of Bin Laden. His cuts and attempted cuts in intelligence spending over his 20 years have allowed the Bin Ladens of the world to develop the threats we percieve now.

Kerrys weak military record explains why his votes to weaken the military are predictable. Anyone who meets the Viet Cong Commies secretly (when coincidentally honeymooning in Paris) while his compatriots are fighting against them has to be suspect to aiding and abeting the enemy and giving them comfort.....

God help us all if sKerry should somehow get elected.

I agree. I am outraged that bin laden's warning does not seem to have shifted public opinion more heavily against the candidate of surrender and weakness.

But then, in 1980 the major polling firms didn't see the mood shifting so heavily to Ronald Reagan in the final days either.

Oh yeah--what a liar is Jawn Kerry..."...minutes after al Jazeera aired the terror tape, Kerry himself politicized the news, saying that bin Laden's continued survival was the result of Bush "outsourcing" the hunt for the terror chief in December 2001."...

When Bush is defeated, Kerry will blame the Republican Congress for not passing his proposals.

And when the Republican Congress is defeated, Kerry will blame the Republican minority for not trying to stop his proposals from passing.

Kerry's a perpetual, never-ending finger-pointer.

Actually I thought the Osama tape was pretty deftly crafted. He didn't make any overt threats; he tried to look like some kind of fakir or holy man. IMO, it really was Osama as Michael Moore would present him -- and a clever pitch for the Kerrry candidacy.

"I think it's unfortunate that anybody puts Osama bin Laden into any political context in the United States' election."

No sir! What is "outrageous" is you politicizing OBL in the first place, and lying to the American public about what REALLY happened in Tora Bora! You Sir, are a disgraceful human being and your rhetoric is an insult to those three-thousand ghosts in that hole in lower Manhattan!

I guess this is what one can expect from someone who showed cowardice in the face of the enemy, and sold out his fellow sailors and soldiers who did not.

I apologize for my rant, but frankly I put Kerry below Clinton as far as integrity goes. At least Clinton took a stand for something, and left the country. Anyone who does not willing release his military record is someone that is not proud of their service. The same service he continues to run on!

Let's see Micahel Moore and Jimmah were sitting at the RAT convention in the presidential box. Then Bin Laden spews Micahel Moore's talking poiint almost verbatim on his tape. Yeah we know which side helps buttress Bin Laden's propaganda. Kerry never did repudiates Moore's lies and rather let him the place of honor on TV at "his" coronating convention. Sleep with dogs wake up with Fleas--Ketchup Boy.

When the American people pull the lever this Tuesday and drop John Heinz-Kerry into the oubliette of history, he'll find himself bumping around down there with Al Gore, Michael Dukakis, Eugene McGovern, that man who ran with Geraldine Ferraro, Geraldine herself, John Edwards, and a number of other who are long forgotten.

The highly forgettable though persistent Jimmy Carter will also be down there, despite the fact that his name will be in the list of American presidents, assuming that those making the lists don't forget, and that he did demonstrate the meaninglessness of the Nobel Peace Prize. He couldn't even do that first. Yassar Arafat had already done it.

I thought he wanted to "outsource" the war? As in turn over operations in Iraq to the French, Germans, UN?

Or does he only object when the outsourcing involves groups who know the terrain and have a vested interest in pacifying Afghanistan - like locals would have? Or does he just object when Bush does it?

"...may hurt his chances in next Tuesday's election."

Kerry outraged that the terrorists want him to be elected? Why? When John Kerry favors constraints over the Bush redefination of America thereby shredding those same constratints and doing something possitive about terrorism. The American Communist Party also wants Kerry to be elected and the call has gone out to American Muslims to vote for the man who would appease the terrorists.

President Bush has told the world that this country would no longer sit by the side of the road and do nothing as the former administration and John Kerry did - The Bush Presidency has with the help of the Coalition, formed a revolution in foreign policy - "redefining how the U.S. engages those constraints that "allies and international institutions" have imposed on our freedom - in other words, no more blackmail from terrorist demons and their followers or Oil For Food games the former allies engaged in. If this creates some resentment abroad so be it as EUROPE WAS ON THE TAKE FROM SADDAM.

I'm outraged that the media is withholding part of the tape. This part as reported in today's New York Post.

OBL says his terror operation has been hurt by the unrelenting US military manhunt for him and his cohorts.

OBL stating that the lack of violence at the Afghan elections put a crimp in his plans.

Why would the media withhold this part of the tape? I understand why the MSM would do so, but FOX????????

Don't ya know anything about history? Heck, our Founding Fathers during our Revolutionary War had a lot of out-sourced help too, you old dunderhead.

I've heard you are even willing to out-source the USA to the UN.

John Kerry you are one misguided, misinformed, miscreant, miserable democrat candidate we've seen since Bill Clinton.

My hopes are that we will be saying a hearty bye-bye Kerry next Wednesday and send you back to Mama Bucks Teresa's many estates.

And furthermore, you are sounding more like WC Fields on a binge.
