BS. It's clear by his early writings that the presence of infidels on the Arabian Peninsula was his biggest gripe. He even recounted how Zawahiri had to teach him about what was happening in Palestine. Osama's ideology eventually grew to global jihad.

Why he's saying this, I don't know. Maybe it's to appeal to folks who want it all to be about Israel. Anyway, he doesn't do it well, and I suspect Jazeera, again, cut out the craziest rantings - note the interspersed reporter commentary.

BTW, didn't KSM, per the 9/11 Report, claim 9/11 was his idea in the first place? Osama takin undue credit?
