Could you please correct the spelling on the title. I didn't have my glasses on.

she is such a zero there is no doubt why she didn't debate before but I'm still puzzled why the good folks of Arkansas appear to be ready to put such a zero back in the US Senate, given the stakes involved.

Close your eyes and listen carefully to Sen. Lincoln speak.

She sounds just like Laura Bush!

It's uncanny.

Particularly when I truly believe that the majority of voters in this state share far more in common with Holt's positions than with Blanche.

Of course, it doesn't help that the state Republican Party has no backbone, and the national didn't help out much. I still run into a lot of folks that say "Holt who?"

Add to that all the old straight "D" voters - cause their dad voted that way, their granddad voted that way, etc.....

Watching this makes me wish Bill Alexander had never gotten caught up in the house post office scam those many years ago... I really really don't like Mrs. Lincoln. Not at all.

I pray Jim can pick up enough votes to beat her.

She is the Clinton candidate, and that still means a lot in Democrat AR.

Some in AR may think that Lincoln is the Republican candidate because her married name is "Lincoln," as in Abraham Lincoln. Mostly though they are just sticking with the friendly, popular "D" candidate.

Not in any substantial way that I have seen.

LOL looking at her right now, with her head down and a nasty little smirk on her face, all I can think of is "Church Lady!!!"

Yeah, it seems with some national help that Holt could have had a good chance to beat the liberal Lincoln.

They always have to spend money where they think it can do the most good, and I'm sure that if Huckabee had run then they would have. But if Lincoln is vulnerable to Huckabee, then there must be some inherent weakness to her, and therefore maybe Holt could have beaten her with some help.

If this had been two yrs from now maybe they would have tried, but with 5 other races in the South, plus South Dakota, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Alaska I guess they felt they couldn't spare any resources. Of course that thinking may have cost Bob Franks the chance to beat Corzine in NJ back in 2000 as he made it a very close race with almost no help from the national party.

Something nutty with the servers tonight.

Everytime I refresh I lose posts, and sometimes get them back.

Hmmmmmm (Jim would say,"try clearing your cache".

Huckabee would have been little better than Lincoln lite.

I'm completely losing the person's name in the "to" field when I go to post reply.

I don't know what the deal is with these new servers, but in my uneducated opinion, they suck big time. If it is like this election night, we might as well find something else to do.

There seems to be a lot of packet losses, or something. I cannot tell what exactly is causing it. FR is basically un-usable right now from here.

It takes off, and then stops again.

Might be a DNS attack.
