I'm curious what the settlement actually was. I'd like to see it in print.

Maybe he agreed not to tie her sorry as$ up in court for the next zillion years.

Maybe he just made a financial decision....cheaper to give her a mil than pay far more than that in lawyers and smeared reputation.

You're never going to know. It's all been settled and nobody's going to say a word. She got bucks. O'Reilly got off. And there it is.

So he gets a reputation he wants? After playing the stand up guy? Mackris walks away unscathed and probably wealthier? BOR is guilty of something here.

I'd rather lose home and everything than give in to extortion.

If BOR wasn't a slime ball in this instance, he would not have settled so quickly. He can afford to fight a meritless cass. In any event, he should be held liable for felony stupidity in this case.
