Mark Hyman of The Point does it again! He got the goods on ABC's Ted Koppel who fabricated news by selectively quoting from one Navy document and then ignoring entire passages from the same document, which discredit Koppel's attempt to back up Kerry's fake claims over his Silver Star.
THE ABCs OF NIGHTLINE
On Thursday, October 14th, Ted Koppel - of Koppelgate fame - aired a program that was intended to validate John Kerry's version of how he "overwhelmed a numerically superior force" when he won his Silver Star. The problem was - well, let's put it this way. If it were a research paper it'd get an "F." This is how Koppel and his crew attempt to mislead viewers. Kerry received a Silver Star for his actions on February 28th, 1969. As the officer-in-charge, Kerry was responsible for the accuracy of every word in the after action report. The Point reported in an exclusive last month that it obtained the after action report from U.S. Navy archives. The report mentions only a lone suspected Viet Cong was present. The report stated that Kerry chased down this already wounded man as he retreated from battle and shot him while he fled. Kerry ultimately received three citations to accompany his medal. The first -- signed by the commander of naval forces in Vietnam -- made no mention of additional forces. Kerry later received a second citation signed by the Commander of the Pacific Fleet, based in Hawaii. Seventeen years later Kerry - now a U.S. Senator -- requested a third citation signed by Ronald Reagan's Navy Secretary in Washington, D.C. The two later citations included a new version of events not included in the after action report or the original citation. One award - three separate citations. In the segment, Nightline selectively quotes from the after action report and ignores the passage that states there was only one suspected Viet Cong. Then Nightline ignores the original citation which matches the facts in the after action report and instead quotes from a rewritten citation which was later signed in the States. Nightline thought the story was so important that it sent a crew half way around the world to speak to several Vietnamese villagers. Not a single one could corroborate Kerry's version of events, a version which conflicts with official Navy records and with eyewitness accounts. That didn't stop Koppel from pronouncing Kerry's version as correct. Now here's the kicker. ABC will send a news crew to Vietnam to interview those who once warred against U.S. troops, but it tells our own American servicemen who were abused and tortured in Vietnam that it cannot afford the time to speak with them. Kind of makes you wonder what the agenda is at ABC news. And that's the Point. I'm Mark Hyman.

For all you fellow Freepers, Our Constitutional Form of Govenrment is at this time, under attack by a domestic enemy, The Socialist (THEY ARE NOT DEMOCRATS !! ). If Kerry wind this election, we as a people living under a Constitutional form of government will cease to be within 2 years, possiably less.
With the probability that Clinton will be heading the UN, and Hillary possiably heading for Supreme Court, rest assured you will no longer enjoy the Freedoms that you now have. THe country will become a third world country as it is stripped of it's wealth to pay apeasement to our enemies and support the EU, whose Economy is in the tank.
This economic slavery and that is what we will be slaves if we are not dead. There will be no protection except for the Elite who are now telling us how to raise our children, how to worship god, if they allow God to exist at all.
Prepare for the worst and PRAY for the Best.
