Must have been the same 'rag' I saw at the grocery store a few months back...A couple of duck hunters mistakenly downed an 'angel'...Poor thing was lying in the water face down with spread wings just out from the duck blind..I think you're confusing the Enquirer with the Weekly World News.

My favorite cover story from the supermarket rags still has to be "WWII BOMBER FOUND ON MOON!", accompanied by a "photo" of a B-25 parked next to a crater.
You mean that wasn't real?

Isn't National Inquirer the magazine that shows President Bush greeting aliens?

How will anyone know whether he has brain damage or not; he's a liberal!
To: shrinkermd
He has some unnamed blood infection? Aids is a blood borne disease. You think Slickums has the turd burglar syndrome?

Clearly you guys haven't looked at the Enquirer in years. There's no difference between it or People or Us magazine. <<<<<<<<
Actually, the Enquirer has more "check out the cellulite" and "who had plastic surgery?" issues.

The Enquirer is not the tabloid that runs with those stories. While it's written at about a 5th grade reading level, it's a pretty accurate news magazine. I hate to see this happen to Clinton. No, I don't like him, never have, never will. But he was the President . He looks bad, like he's aged twenty years.
I hope he found the Lord during this time, and I pray he recovers. When he's healthy again, I'll slam him. But not now.

Maybe he can go sit side by side with Yassir "That's My Baby" Arafat.

Justice poetic and preventive--(although hardly proportional)--notwithstanding ample documentation that significant cognitive and sexual dysfunction predated the replumbery.

From the Enquirer article: NO CURE According to a study in the New England Journal of Medicine, it affects more than half of bypass patients. And 42 percent are still impaired after five years. There is no cure. Experts believe it's caused by tiny debris and bubbles that get into the brain from the heart-lung machine, which takes over the work of the heart during surgery. Clinton was on the pump for 73 minutes while a team of 12 doctors and nurses at New York-Presbyterian Hospital worked on him. DISAGREEMENT After the operation, team spokesman Dr. Craig Smith, said patients like Clinton might suffer some mental impairment, but said studies have shown they would disappear after a year. Dr. David Stump, associate professor of anesthesiology and cardiothoracic surgery at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., disagrees. "Bill Clinton will never be the same," said Dr. Stump, who did not treat the former President, but has followed the case closely. "Eighty percent of patients suffer some mental dysfunction, and many will be impaired for the rest of their lives." Bill's health crisis has left Hillary uncertain about the future. Said the source with ties to the Clintons: "She's resigned herself to the possibility that Bill may never be the way he was before surgery."

"She's resigned herself to the possibility that Bill may never be the way he was before surgery." WOW! ...$hrillary gets a two-fer, Bubba is not chasing little girls/boys and she'll get the sympathy vote in '08. ...on the downside, she'll have to attend to his "needs"
Hmmm...not to worry, while Nurse Ratchitt is NOT on duty, Monica is sneaking around.

No - you're thinking of the Weekly World News. The Enquirer is just like Us or People magazine. Vanity Fair and the New York Slimes have both done stories on the excellent(and true) the Enquirer has done on the O.J. Simpson case and Jesse Jackson's illegitimate child.
To: Mjaye
Yeah, the Enquirer has more "check out the cellulite " issues. That's why I like it better than People (I used to be a reporter there some years ago) because they don't treat the celebs with respect.
To: Proudly Republican
I agree. But when Rush was having his problems a certain crowd here on FR was quoting the Inquirer like scripture...

Nope, in fact, I was working a Flight here in Norfolk to Dallas with the Great OJ onboard a week before the incident.
The Flight had a mechanical and he ended up going to another airline to get out. MAn, if I had a camera to take a picture of his shoes, I could have been rich..
You have to remember, it is also the Enquirer that gives us a whole new meaning to Cropping, Cutting and pasting...
