In the literature I received today it states that 'Bush's ideaology is standing in the way of life-saving cures. He has blocked stem cell research that could treat and cure diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.'

So I called AFSCME who is sponsoring Hope and Vote and told them that it's misleading and I am disappointed that 'we' would send out literature that was incorrect.

The President is not standing in the way of life-saving cures or blocking stem cell research. The President will not federally fund EMBRYONIC Stem cell research which is not only destroying life, but is unstable. It is proven that adult stem cells work effectively on Parkinson's, but so for NO STEM CELL RESEARCH HAS BEEN ABLE TO CURE ALZHEIMERS.

So she did her song and dance about their research team going over the facts from the candidates and that their literature was correct.

I am sick of this soft sell women-oriented literature. It looks like a clothing catalogue. It even has nurses and a softlit photo of birth control pills on it.

I could go on and on about the racist garbage that I get at my home against Bush, but they know it's outright lies and no one ever calls to point out that they are a bunch of hucksters who try to get the vote with misleading and scaring the voters with lies.
