The Columbus Dispatch: Kerry Lacks Convictions On Iraq. "During the presidential campaign, Kerry has revised his stance on Iraq almost as frequently as there have been shifts in opinion polls. He appears to lack solid convictions on how to proceed." (Editorial, "Despite Missteps, Bush Is Better Able To Steer Nation Through Difficulties Ahead," The Columbus Dispatch, 10/24/04) The Cincinnati Enquirer: "We Believe George W. Bush Has The Strength To Meet This Challenge And The Others That Will Confront America In The Next Four Years." (Editorial, "George Bush For President," The Cincinnati Enquirer, 10/24/04) The Cincinnati Post: Kerry's Record Makes Decision Clear. "Kerry, meanwhile, has voted time and again against weapons systems, against efforts to upgrade the military and, most telling, against providing funds for the very intelligence community which he now pledges to reform.
Kerry, with 20 years in the Senate, has been unable to pass a single significant piece of legislation on any key domestic concern." (Editorial, "A Vote For Stability," The Cincinnati Post, 10/24/04) The [Massillon, OH] Independent: Kerry Offers No Plan For Iraq. "We believe youll be better off if you cast your ballot for George Bush.
Kerry, meanwhile, has offered no clear cut plan for getting U.S. forces out of Iraq, only criticism for what he cannot change." (Editorial, "Bush Is Best For America," The [Massillon, OH] Independent, 10/24/04) The [Mansfield, OH] News Journal: Bush Will Protect America. "Given the dangerous and deadly times in which we live, we believe Bush offers the best ideas on protecting this country.
He understands the threats posed against this country. He is willing to do whatever it takes, regardless of domestic or world political opinion, to destroy those who seek to destroy us." (Editorial, "Re-Elect Bush To See War Through," The [Mansfield, OH] News Journal, 10/24/04) The Chillicothe [OH] Gazette: Kerry's Statements Don't Match His Actions. "Bush's stances are clear and concise, while Kerry's positions seem muddied. His statements on many issues -- the Second Amendment, the war in Iraq and others -- have not matched his actions." (Editorial, "Bush's Steady Leadership Bodes Well In Uncertain Time," The Chillicothe [OH] Gazette, 10/24/04) The [Lake County, OH] News-Herald: President Bush Is Putting Terrorists On The Defensive. "Simply put, terrorists have been put on the defensive by being forced to concentrate their defenses in faraway lands like Afghanistan and Iraq. It is far better that we fight them there rather than here." (Editorial, "Re-Elect Bush," The [Lake County, OH] News Herald, 10/24/04)
Cleveland Plain Dealer go Kerry? All in all, not a bad day for the Pres...
God Bless President Bush , Our Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and God Bless the Newspapers who endorsed President Bush for Re election. We are going to send a message to the terrorist..DON'T MESS WITH AMERICA!
Also Toledo Blade, Dayton, Akron, Yongstown, Zanesville (sp?)?? Lots of big cities in OH...
Has the Cleveland Paper actually endorsed Bush? I thought I saw there was an internal fight going on, and it had been delayed until Monday. My guess is they will not endorse anyone.
Excellent. Thanks for the post.
Note, we are not allowed to link to The Desert Sun but you cna find the editorial at this link.
Well, I hope my ex-father-in-law reads some of these papers. He lives in OH and I just found out from my daughter that he's voting for Kerry. I called him and tried to convince him to change his mind, but he refused. I felt like I was debating Michael Moore.
I don't know what happened to him. He's always voted Republican and he's a Vietnam vet. Now he's more liberal than I was when I was young and stupid. He actually told me that he was wrong about BJ Clinton and that he was a great President. The conversation was very disturbing.
Hey, I know how you feel. My boyfriend, who I dearly love, hates George Bush, doesn't like Kerry, but hates GW more. He just watched F**kenheit911 and now thinks he knows the truth. It breaks my heart. Wants to know if I'll watch the stupid Moore fakeumentary with him. I said I would if he'd watch FarenHYPE 911 with me afterwards. Doesn't know if he wants to do that. I just ordered the FarenHYPE 911 movie. Just want you to know you're not alone. And remember: You can't reason someone out of something they've never been reasoned into. It's an emotional thing.
Drag your boyfriend to the computer, take him to the Swift Boat Veterans/POWs for Truth and WinterSoldier websites.

Dump him. You can do much better!
You're right. It didn't matter how well I presented my argument or how much evidence I had to disprove his points, my ex-father-in-law was not going to change his mind. He made it clear that he hates GWB and nothing I said mattered. But I had to try.
Dump the guy. Someone that messed up can't be good for you.
Anyone who hates GWB does not have a loving heart. Look for a new boyfriend. Republican men are the best.:-)
Unfortunately, the Dayton Daily News endorsed the Senator.
ping
And he's still your boyfriend?
Seems even liberal Ohio papers get it.
