Queen Elizabeth is not only the Queen of the United Kingdom, she is also the Queen of Canada (Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, et al) and as such is the Head of State. Technically speaking, Canada is a Dominion and the Prime Minister serves at the leisure of her Gov-General.
A perfect juxtaposition of pics would be the President serving our military Thanksgiving dinner and Sen. Kerry in one of his anti-military protests!
So what does that mean? Can the Queen of England have Celine Dion summarily executed? If so, why hasn't she done this already?
