I bet she is on Administrative leave with pay. I hat the Public School system.
Ohh im sure shes still getting paid, and will probably get a lawyer paid for by the school system as well.
Georgia has a major problem in recruiting and keeping teachers. When I got ready to retire from the military...I actually sent them a resume. I have a bachelors degree and 20 years in the air force...but zero educational background. These folks were willing to overlook my "shortfalls", and actually talked of a job. I found a better paying job and turned down the teachers job. I later asked a teacher from Alabama why the retention problem, and she indicated that alot of teachers in Georgia come in, and move on within four years. No one stays long-term. Combination of unqualified folks and big-money draw from Atlanta. I asked what she meant by unqualififed and she said that there was actually a teacher hired a few years ago there...that they discovered half-way through the school year that her degree was totally bogus. The school was happy with the individual...and they at least kept her till the end of the school year...before telling her to leave.
