"Lew go down to your local body shop and pick up a can of the "non-solvable" 3M spray on contact cement, it always stays tacky until it is touched then it's instant perma-bond! They may get your sign but you'll have the satisfaction that it will need to be surgically removed from their hand.

Just spray around the top edge Lew you don’t want no doggies stuck to it."

When I was working at our local campaign HQ, I had one lady tell me she had smeared her sign in Vaseline and honey; "During the day, the bees guard my sign. At night, anyone who grabs it is gonna have one helluva mess on his hands."

I thought that was pretty funny.

I still prefer a full time guard armed with a 12 gauge.

Well, so do I, but I can't afford to hire anyone right now. :)

There is another good suggestion in that discussion. Wouldn't it be funny to get one of the stuck-up sign stealers on vidio? </P>

Reminds me of the time a live bobcat got put in a suitcase and left by the road.... 8-)

Love the "house current!" Reminds me of how we broke a "locker knocker" in our Kaserne in Germany, back in the 60s. Germany has 220 volts, as opposed to 120 in USA. Results were immediate! Kinda like those dog-shock-collars. But in this case the "dog" nearly ended up in East Germany!

We don't use that kind of language here.

There is a spray can product used by police and law enforcement which, once touched, stays on the culprits' hands and cannot be washed off for 48 hours.

It is illuminated via a certain type of light, ultra violet, I think.

Unfortunately, you have to catch the person to check their hands and police depts. don't have time or the inclination to go around checking all suspects.

Here in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania, I think I can likely name the partisan Democrats who have literally stole ALL Bush Cheney2004 signs from roadsides.

One is probably an aquaintenance of the dude who went to the movie theater in Jenkintown (near Philly) the other night and taunted the people there to watch Stolen Honor.

If you recall, the Dem hack was seen on the TV news cursing at women who had simply gone there to watch the movie. He was disgraceful, and could be familiar with disappearing signs.

The Kerry/Edwards signs are still there.
