Thanks for your rant.

I will share with you, my friend, a quick story and why I remain optimistic about our Country.

I think first and foremost this election will be a blow out by President Bush.

I got back from a funeral yesterday. (My wife's great uncle.) While there, I met 2 navy veterans. One who served during WW2, and the other served during the Vietnam war, and afterwards, flying p - 3 Orions. As veterans we had the best time talking about the greatness of this country, and the time spent in service. These men are the cream of the crop. Now I didn't know either one of them until yesterday, but their contempt for John Kerry is high. They were gentlemen though, and didn't speak long on it, but the fire in their bellies told me that Kerry has touched a raw nerve among most veterans.

Whenever I see a Veteran for Kerry bumper sticker I have to laugh. I have a Veterans for Bush, and to see a Veteran for Kerry, I think which one is he?

These men I met yeterday praised President Bush, and hold their country in high esteem. I do think there are tens of thousands of these veterans out there who can't wait to pull that lever for President Bush come election day.

We can put this louse Kerry to rest once and for all.

Northern Yankee: Thanks my patrotic friend. I appreciate it. I have never felt this strongly about someone running for president in my life. I thought Carter was bad and Klinton was a joke, but I think Kerry is a threat to the Republic, our way of life, our military, and our national security. I have never, ever been as afraid of a socialist take over as I am now. Kerry as Prez. A trial-lawyer as VP. Hillery Klinton on the US Supreme Court; Bill Klinton head of the UN. It that happens, civil war is next. Because they will destroy this Republic. I firmly believe John Kerry is an enemy of America and the Republic. I firmly believe he seeks to socialize America just as German and France. I believe he seeks to put the US under control of the UN. I believe all this with all my heart and soul.
