Here's what I think happened:
Kerry didn't bag a goose at all.
Kerry asked someone else if he could carry their goose out for the photo-op.
That person, aware of the law, explained it to Kerry.
So, Gooseless Kerry just said he was "too lazy" to carry his.

OTOL Maybe Kerry didn't shoot the bird. Maybe the person carrying it was the actual hunter......Kerry just went along to observe....Remember no press was allowed near. (p.s. pass it on!)

If a friend and I went hunting together and I got a goose, but he carried it out of the woods to our vehicle without a proper tag on it and I was charged I would hope that a judge would throw it out.

There's another thread here on this somewhere. I posted the same regulation as you did but the goose hunters said it's not enforced.

You would hope a judge wouldn't follow the law?

Does any real hunter out there really believe that a real hunter in Ohio would actually allow himself to go hunting with sKerry with real bullets in the gun, given his tendency to shoot people in the back,,,I think not..

Some laws are stupid and shouldn't be enforced. Or do you believe that judges should enforce all laws on the books to the letter of the law and to their fullest extent?

Ah, the old answer a question with a question tactic. It was a simple yes/no question. Please answer.

As much as I'd love to nail him, I'd hate to see it on such a bad law.
No, wait. I'd love to see it on such a bad law, so he can get rid of it. The polticians seem quicker to act when it's their problem.

I don't think it counts if the birds were already dead before any shot was fired. We all know that Kerry didn't shoot anything, he can't even throw a baseball for God's sake and it takes more coordination to nail a goose in flight.

Yes, he did it publicly, and even insulted what he considers to be a redneck state, apparently.
