Rocks crashed through the windows of a Bush campaign office while it was vacant Wednesday night.
Republican campaign workers said vandals hit their office in southeast Portland, filling the large front windows full of holes.
"Those of us who do this for a living are accustomed to this and it doesn't come as a tremendous surprise, knowing the absolute rabid hatred of the left out here. But I gotta tell you, it really worries me that it's going to deter some of our volunteers from wanting to work as late at night," director Tim Trickery told KOIN News 6.
Local Democratic leaders say they don't condone vandalism from either side.
By noon Thursday, police had not yet investigated the incident.
Too bad for the both of them that we Republicans don't back down from a fight. Time to open a can of Whoop-Ass on 'em!

Why do people throw rocks? I've never understood what message they are trying to get across or what exactly they are trying to accomplish. It reminds me of a playground fights when I was 6 years old.

I saw someone trying to compare a 'prank' where someone walked out to TWO frozen waffles on their doorstep... to having a Swastika burned in lawn.. IT'S NO WHERE CLOSE TO THE SAME THING. I mean c'mon.. would it be the same for highschool student to put bubbles in the school fountain, and another to burn down the school?? Of course not.
Can we get a list going listing all similar reports from around the country? I know there are lots of them! Windows have been shot out and everything else.

There is historical precedent for local law enforcement doing nothing while thugs vandalized private property. The most infamous occurred the nights of November 9 and 10th, 1938, in Germany. It came to be known as Kristallnacht.
There are some who would criticize those who would dare to draw a parallel between the two cases, claiming a few isolated incidents of vandalism cannot be compared to a national pogrom. But I don't think these incidents of vandalism and intimidation of Republican campaign workers are isolated, but part of a nationwide attempt to intimidate and silence an entire voting bloc. This is exactly how the electoral process is subverted and eventually subdued by a ruthless and power-hungry group, with a bloody and repressive dictatorship the common outcome.
If I become president, I'll reduce these guys to a "nuisance" just like prostitutes and illegal gambling!!

Local news in Cincinnati, Ohio reports the Republican office in the downtown area was broken into last night. Window broken, files rifled, office equipment overturned and damaged ... no one apprehended yet.
How did that verse go?
