Cheney lampoons Kerry's goose hunting outing

SYLVANIA, Ohio Not even John Kerry's goose hunt today is escaping Republican political barbs.

Kerry told reporters this morning he had bagged a goose while hunting in Ohio.

Campaigning later in the Buckeye State, Vice President Dick Cheney laughed about Kerry's hunting trip, saying it clashed with the senator's voting record on gun rights.

Cheney likened Kerry's camouflage jacket to "an October disguise." He told supporters that "the Second Amendment is more than just a photo opportunity."

Kerry continues to deny claims by the Bush-Cheney campaign and the National Rifle Association that he wants to take away guns. However, Kerry has supported a ban on assault-type weapons, and wants background checks at gun shows.

The National Rifle Association has endorsed President Bush.

Rush said something about Effin' Kerry's goose already being cooked - no real reason to go out and get another...

This month's American Rifleman from the NRA has a detailed account of Kerry's anti-gun fanaticism.

Was he carrying a semi-auto shotgun again today?

The funny thing Cheny said was "I see John Kerry bought a new camo jacket. I can tell how often he goes hunting".

Kerry's recent lip-service to the Second has reportedly
panicked a large number of ACLU members, who didn't
realize there was such a thing. They all had to rush off
to local libraries and check, because the ACLU's copies
of the Constitution skip from Amendment 1 to 3.

Kerry's little sortie today likely cost him a lot more
votes than it gained.

Rush said the reports say:

No photographers where allowed on the hunt.
But they were close enough to hear any shots.
There were no shots heard.
4 men came out of the woods with ducks.
All of this happened between 7 and 9 AM. <
Very unlikely.

Kerry is such a phony ba$tard.. He wouldn't know one end of a goose from the other. Does he really think he can cast off the doofus, whoos image by going on a big hunt where no shots are heard fired and aides bring out dead ducks on a goose hunt?? Sheesh what's next??

Bad move by Kerry Number 756. Kerry cooks his own goose. Bush gets goose lovers, Kerry gets goose livers.

Testimony of John F. Kerry, Mighty Hunter of Geese, before the Congressional Committee on Hunting Crimes:

"They told the stories at times they had personally shot, wrung necks, cut off heads, placed ducks in ovens and turned up the heat, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at hippies, razed ponds in fashion reminiscent of Elmer Fudd, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned rodents, and generally ravaged the countryside of Ohio in addition to the normal ravage of hunting, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied hunting power of this country."

This just seems so Dukakis-on-the-tank to me -- I hope the voters feel that way too.
