looking to scare seniors.

this goes to the root of the problem with national ids, licenses, databases, medical records, or anything really.
for now, with states acting as a firewall... at least the whole nation was not 'compromised'.

and with democrats working in government offices... this could be a new foundation for terrorist event planning of a cataclysmic nature.

old people who have their checks automatically deposited, could from this intrusion in CA... have their accounts compromised or disrupted.

the idea of centralized databases may seem really cool to statist/socialist planners for the culture... but until they can guarantee that NO compromise of THIS nature will EVER occur under ANY circumstances.... and that the folks running the system are basically "TOP SECRET" rated folks, with no 'skeletons' in their closet... we can NEVER allow the centralization of records to occur.

NEVER.
This is probably just a dem operative building a database of seniors to scare into voting against bush, by sending them a last minute mailing that PROVES that Bush is out to steal their Social Security. Postage paid... by 527's run by Soros... of course.

How on earth are we to counter this voter fraud threat?

Any ideas on how we can push for requiring picture ID's to vote? Would that be mandated at the state or federal level? Possible to do for this election?

all rhetorical questions I suppose...

The state Medicaid and federal Medicare offices better be auditing now, and for the next year, for a significant increase in medical claims submissions for this population.

I have a WWII shipmate (85 years) who "e" mailed me the other day saying that he was hit with indentity theft recently to the tune of $4100 plus $350 shipping for a big screen TV.
He lives in Northern Callfornia.
What are the state agencies doing giving access to personal information? In my shipmates case they had his credit card number and "e" mail address plus who knows what else.

An absolutely perfect place for "harvesting" names and data for new registrations...
is there anyway to find out if anyone is cross checking for names and data showing up on New registrations?
Is RNC aware of this and the others?

I haven't come across many WWII veterans online. When did you start using computers?

lots of Seniors use "WebTV" and other abbreviated services thru dial-up.......also, on yahoo (and prob other IP's), there are lots of Romance chatrooms for 60 and up chatters.

Trivia post, I know, but Seniors use the puter a lot. It expands and enhances anyones life.

Incredibly, but coincidentally, all of them have already voted absentee for John Kerry

How much would you like to bet every one of these elderly and disabled people who's ID was in the database votes a straight Democratic ticket come election day?

Waste of time here in Kalifornia, why steal something that is already in your pocket. More likely these people will wind up victims of some shabby scam.

You know, voter fraud can lead to identity theft. What if those 'hired hands' for ACORN fed names and address into a database and sold them. If those registrations are not checked properly, I'd think the City would be liable for damages.

Yup - you called it.

Is California using electronic voting - if so, does anyone know how easy it will be for these democr-hackers to convert stolen data to votes?

My 90 year old grandmother has never used a computer. At one time maybe ten years ago, I was interested in her getting a computer so she could keep up with her children and grand children via email, but she wasn't interested. She is now very frail and requires a walker to get around and her ability to learn new skills is greatly diminished. Even though she does not have Alzheimers's disease, she is in the early stages of dimentia, but medication, dietary changes, and vitamin B shots have decreased the progression.
