She wouldn't be able to do the job of first Lady.
She would be an absolute disgrace to the nation.

Heinz Kerry was born in Mozambique, the daughter of a Portuguese medical doctor. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, and later attended the University of Geneva. In 1966 she married Henry John Heinz III (known as John), a member of the Heinz ketchup and condiment family. A Republican, he was elected U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania in 1976, and remained in that post until he was killed in a plane crash in 1991

Did she work at all before she married John Heinz III?

Hey, I just saw your tagline. My dad's retired miltary too.He was navy in WWII, he switched over to the army for Korea, and then switched again to the air force for vietnam. 1947-1971 veteran of three wars, highest rank MSGT. He has a baseball cap which lists the wars he was active duty during (yeah, he actually was on the ground in Korea and Vietnam-has some interesting Korean photos), and he says he always gets compliments and thanks when he wears it in public, including from teenagers, children, and college-age people.

My memory says she was working as some kind of U.N. underling.

you will be told "she isn't the one running for president."

I guess they could lock her in the Lincoln bedroom.

But if Kerry is president, who will help him keep his mouth shut?

Yeah, right.

America would NEVER elect an amoral, feckless opportunist with a shrill harridan for a wife.

Oh, wait....

God forbid if Kerry wins, this nut case would be forcing advice to John on a daily basis. Be afraid...very afraid. Gin and raisins for everyone!!

I retired about 3 years ago.

Your Dad is part of the greatest generation....and they truly were.

They were drafted for 4 or more years at a time. They were in for the duration. They knew it was a fight for survival.

Unfortunately, our quisling media won't permit our heroes to be publicized, and they won't permit America to know the danger confronting them.

harridan??!!!

LOL!

You've got me scrambling for a dictionary here, Dan.

I used to do that with William F. Buckley, Jr., too.

(that's a compliment)

I have to agree on a very basic level. We have to ask ourselves, "Is this person who we want to represent us? With all the good, smart, descent, hard working, optomistic American women in this great land, what the heck do we need to have her there for?"

When I saw her speak at the Demonrat convention, I was astonished. Here was this foreign-born woman, one step away from being our First Lady (a position previously held by the likes of Martha Washington and Dolley Madison) talking about HERSELF and not what an incredible country the US of A is!

If this woman was not good looking and did not marry superwealth (and she was a looker in her youth) she would be teaching Spanish in a middle school somewhere (no knock against teachers meant or implied, just what I think her reality is).

My feeling was that J effin K lost the election at that time.

Listening to a local radio show, T Heinz-Kerry has done more for the Bush/Cheney campaign than any ad they have run. One lady who has been undecided until now, said she was voting for Bush. She is a stay-at-home mom and was really ticked off at THK's remark.
