Thanks I'll take a look at it. I've seen it but, there's so many books out now on this and so many are garbage that it's easy to miss the good ones.
I agree; this is the book to read to understand the modern Middle East. It isn't recent, but came out in 1990, I believe, and was very timely and quoted in the run-up to the Gulf War.
