NEW YORK (AP) - The cable pay-per-view company iN DEMAND has backed away from a plan to show a three-hour election eve special with filmmaker Michael Moore that included the first television showing of his documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11."
The company said Friday it would not air "The Michael Moore Pre-Election Special" due to "legitimate business and legal concerns." A spokesman would not elaborate. .....
In a statement, iNDEMAND said "we regret that our decision has led Michael Moore to consider legal action against us," which it said would be "entirely baseless and groundless." The company did not say what legal action Moore was considering.

Doh! He he he.
Let's see now, Moore insists his anti Bush crap be shown right before the election. His buddy Kerry is insisting a show about him not be shown right before the election. They both threaten to sue. What is wrong with this picture?
And if you think the lawyers are gonna stop there think again. They've only just begun...
Moore was probably asking for too much money.
I really don't think it would matter all that much whether they showed it or not. I believe that it has already had its impact and would be preaching to the choir.
Now, having said that...Good!
I think as close as this election is it could get to people who have not seen it yet. Plus I think Moore is adding in comentary and stuff so as to rile up the base more.
Lie down with dogs (in Moore's case, swine), wake up with vermin. In-Demand should have known better than to hitch their wagon to his collapsed star.
After what he did with Disney/Miramax one would wonder why do business with him. It is all bad publicity to begin with and if you change your mind he sues. It seems to me a lose /lose situation.
If Moore does find another venue, it will make it harder to argue against the airing of _Stolen Honor_.
Oh darn!
I was so hoping to spend some of my hard earned dollars to benefit this disgusting slime - NOT!
If Moore really wanted to defeat Bush, then he'd show his movie for free. The fact that he wants to do it on pay per view reminds us that Moore is really just in it for the cash. You got to love how he rips off the left's dollars and gets them to thank him while he steals them blind. What a con man!
Great, we'll see less of Mooren and he'll have to find someone else to screw on election eve.
Actually.... he is practicing capitalism... I can't quite knock him for that.... but at the same time he is selling filth and rat crap.
I believe in time Moore will prove to be one of the biggest case studies of Buyer's Remorse ever.

IMO, iNDemand could get more buys if they showed the Votergasm Election Night Party live. It wouldn't appeal to me because I don't really care for skinny, arrogant, liberal Harvard and Columbia chicks but it would still be better than Michael Moore any night of the week.
"Does Moore sue everyone??"
yup, par for the course when dim libs don't get there way. they seem to have a big problem with the word 'no'.
