E-mail Sinclair Advertisers

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: pow; pows; sbgi; sinclair; stolenhonor; veterans; vietnam
I heard Mark Hyman on Hugh Hewitt and he indicated that Sinclair Broadcasting WILL be presenting "Stolen Honor" on their 62 stations. In my market, KOVR in Sacramento, California will be airing the show, still in production according to Hyman, at 7:00 p.m. on October 23.

Mr. Hyman said that Sinclair does not really need to hear any more encouragement as they know they are doing the right thing on behalf of the POW's. However, he did say that a useful step would be to contact their sponsors. He suggested someone could go to Democratic Underground and get the list of Sinclair advertisers. Well, here you go.

I seldom post, but as I had not seen anyone else take up the challenge of Mr. Hyman I decided to act. I am a proud Viet Nam veteran that believes these heros have been silenced long enough. Please take a minute and thank one or more of these advertisers for helping to allow these men to speak. Who has better earned the right and the privilege to exercise their First Amendment rights?

I don't often post and I may have reversed the order here. The advertisers (all in one group e-mail) are linked above the post. Sorry for any confusion.

Thank you so much for posting the advertiser list. I heard on Oreilly that sinclair got the green light and my first thought was, "How can I support them?'

I would also encourage Freeprs to email the list to their friends who may not be Freepr addicts so they too can support the advertisers.

I just emailed the sponsors.

Do we also have a mailing address list for the sponsors? Some of us may already be consumers of these companies or have stock in their companies. A letter or personal email to their website as a loyal customer may also have an impact beyond a general email?

thanks again. FREEPRS RULE!

I just emailed Sinclair's headquarters!! Everyone should!!!

Dear Sir's:

I want to personally thank you for your pending airing of this true documentary. The hypocrisy of the DNC is so amazingly obvious in their complaining about your showing it, while they wholeheartedly encourage and push to have Michael Moore's fehrenheit/911 (lies disguised as a documentary) pushed out as a saleable DVD prior to the election.

Not being a veteran myself, I am the son of a WWII vet and the father of two vet's fresh home from Iraq (Army and Navy). I am most proud of all of them and the vet's who served in Vietnam, many of them my friends. Kerry should be ashamed of what he did after the war, but apparently he is not. He should also acknowledge the millions that died with the loss of this war, in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, because of the 'antics' of himself and Jane Fonda primarily.

Again,
thank you for airing this show.

I only wish that there was a Sinclair affiliate in the Los Angeles area that I could watch it on. I will be on the lookout.

Kind Regards,
William Silverthorn

Let's try it one more time.

Thank all Sinclair advertisers for showing "Stolen Honor" with one e-mail: E-mail Sinclair Advertisers

By the way, Mark Hyman, Vice President of Sinclair Broadcasting, suggested that the place to get this list was on Democratic Underground. They are using the list to e-mail advertisers to discourage them from advertising on Sinclair stations. I followed Mr. Hyman's suggestion and went to DU and sure enough, there was the list (don't worry I washed it before I posted it on Free Republic).

So... it's only polite to say thanks DU for your help.

done, several times, using all the e-mail address from this household.

BTW, did I read last night that many newpapers and stations shut down their e-mail servers so that they wouldn't get slammed by the DUers?
