If The Republic reported 44,000 then the actual number was more like 40 million.

This is great to hear, especially after Kerry went out of his way to appeal to Arizona voters with specific references to "Arizonans" during the debate.
One troubling thing I've recently noticed, however, is that while Bush seems to be doing quite well in closing the deal in states like Arizona, Colorado, Arkansas and North Carolina, he's still mostly mired in the mid-40s in several important states like Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Oregon, New Hampshire, etc.
It doesn't appear Bush is in very good position at all to pick up many (if any) Gore states. His best chance may be to pour his resources into all the battleground states he won last time and hope that he either wins them all or loses just New Hampshire.

How many attended Kerry's post-debate rally? (He had one, too.)
And, Lurch met with, what? three dozen?

"An estimated 44,000 people watched on the Jumbotron, cheering whenever Bush spoke and jeering, "Liar," at nearly every Kerry comment. The ballpark can hold 49,033."One of the bigger gatherings of smart people I've heard about for a while.

And, Lurch met with, what? three dozen? The usual suspects, union thugs, public school teachers, and people on the dole.

The Democrats are going to have to "knock and drag" like crazy to get people to the polls.
They better stand aside because President Bush's supporters will climbing any obstacle to go vote.

I dont wish to detract from the great message, but surely you could elaborate, even just a little in your original post. What you say is nothing more than a statement, no link to Arizona Republic, no effective comment, not even a suggestion of where it happened. If you are gonna post a thread at least give it some meat.

See post #2 for the link.
Fox News understated the numbers and claimed that only 30,000 people were there.
