Close the SUV show loophole.

Let me go through my MSM list of approved terminology ... here it is... "SUV's are evil inventions. Whenever doing a story about something bad happening that involves an SUV, always make the SUV the subject of the story, as in 'SUV runs over child', or 'SUV robs bank.'"
That explaines the headline.

This reminds me of some BS flyer that I received from handgun control nuts a couple of years ago. It actually said "handguns murdered x people in 19yy".
It's wrong and evil to deliberately mislead people this way.

From the article:
The incident began when plainclothes tactical police officers walked out of a restaurant at Wilson and Clark, and the occupants of a 1998 silver Lexus SUV flashed gang signs at the officers. The vehicle was westbound on Wilson, and at least one officer, chasing after the vehicle on foot, was struck. The officer wasn't hurt, and he and the others ran to their patrol car and attempted to catch up to the SUV, but the vehicle had turned off of Wilson southbound on Greenview. When the SUV tried to turn again, this time onto Sunnyside, it lost control, striking the family, Leidy said. All the occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene. Over the course of the next hour, all were taken into custody.
So, let me get this straight... This pursuit happened because these kids flashed a "gang sign" at the officers? For this the officers had to hop in their cruiser and play car tag in the middle of Chigaco?
Am I missing something? Is it against the law to make certain gestures in Chicago? Are the Police permitted to use deadly force when they feel they have been insulted?
When the Police get into a car chase in an urban area, there is a good possibility that somebody is going to get killed. In other words, they better have a real good reason to think a crime is in progress. A bunch of kids in a Lexus giving them the finger just doesn't justify the response. And some 6-year-old kid wound up paying the price.
