Sinclair is going to run "Stolen Valor" before the election. This is the story of the shameful way Vietnam Veterans were treated upon returning from the war. A brief segment of the movie focuses on John Kerry and the Vietnam Veterans Against the War

My family and I are frequent customers of __________. We encourage you to continue advertising on Sinclair-owned stations in spite of the boycott threats and hate mail you are no doubt receiving from a sliver of Democratic activists. We will be very dissappointed if you cave to the demands of a few extremists. Sinclair is presenting the public with a viewpoint that is rarely expressed in the mainstream media. The public should be allowed to view Sinclair's programming and make their own decisions about it's validity. I can assure you that any customers you lose by advertising on Sinclair will be balanced by the respect, admiration and business you will earn by standing up to censorship.

Sinclair is laughing their way to bank.The increased ads in Battleground states have been a windfall for TV stations.Even the non-battleground states are making more due to local races.They can handle a two week boycott with ease.
