Debate #'s: FNC 7.1, CNN 3.4, MSNBC 1.7 Mil During the debate, FNC averaged 7,089,000 viewers, CNN delivered 3,376,000 and MSNBC had 1,709,000. (The two MSNBC's = one CNN and two CNN's = one FNC formula is back in effect.) For Fox, that's a 257% increase over the same debate in 2000. (It's a 85% increase for MSNBC and 26% boost for CNN.)

Once again, MSNBC's ratings improved after the debate: The network averaged 2,185,000 viewers between 10:37 and 11pm, a press release noted.

In primetime (8 to 11pm), FNC averaged 5,700,000 viewers, while CNN had 2,597,000 and MSNBC had 1,427,000.

> "During the 90-plus-minutes debate, NBC was the leading broadcast network choice with 12.3 million viewers, followed by ABC (10.3 million), CBS (8.1 million) and Fox (3.8 million)," TV Week reports.

ABC needs to suffer.....I HATE they were number 1 WHEN on the eve of the debate that CROOK News guy of theirs sent out the email about helping Kerry....
I've written about everyone I know to write, doesnt do any good.....John Gibson said they havent even addressed it nor do they seem to care that it shows bias

Now if Fox News would get some decent post-debate commentators, we'd be in bidness.

I normally like the "Fox All Stars," but they stunk it up on Friday.

This is not necessarily good news, as Bill Kristol and crew apparently were in collusion with the alphabet soup networks with their after debate comments. Fox bagged on Bush, the other cable news channels compilmented Bush. I swear the networks reported the winner of the debate the exact opposite of what you would from their organization. It seemed like everyone wanted throw the sheeple off the track of recent complaints about their lack of fair and balanced reporting.

FNC is getting the lefties in droves. That is their target market and we who made FNC the beacon of fairness have been kicked to the curb.

What debate are these numbers for? They look like the numbers from the first debate.

If FNC had used someone other than Bill O'Reilly for the pre-game show, their ratings for their debate coverage would have been significantly higher.
