Is anyone starting to see the wisdom of this country's founders when the original voting block was "property owners"?
I'm not trying to be racist or sexist but maybe there was something to it. Does anyone have more insight on any background material regarding this?

In order to preserve the integrity of the political system, voters must be informed on the issues and have a stake in the system.

Does anyone have more insight on any background material regarding this? The problem with this is, there are many, many alien property owners, particularly in Florida. Lots of German citizens own property in SW FL, and I suspect many nationalities own property in Florida and elsewhere. Ever increasing Florida property values draw investors from all over the world.
