The President of the Senate first met Edwards at the debate.
At the debate, Cheney took Edwards to the woodshed and swatted him a few good ones.

Describes John Kerry, John Edwards, and Democrats as a whole. They are so far off message from what their party represents, call it "befuddled ", but some of us call it "wishy washy" or "flip flopping".
Looking at the vice presidential debate as a contest between 2 guys who are only a step away from the presidency makes it real scary from the JohnJohn scenario.
Cheney makes plain that he is purely and simply a man who can and will do a job. No way Johnny2 could even be minimally thought to handle that job.
The left leaning pundits and MSM don't seem to get it. They think that we would be so enamored by Edward's good looks (can't say I agree with that though) and his ability to sway a jury, that we would fall under his spell. Well, Dick Cheney was the one who cast the spell. He was articulate, confident and passionate. I can't quite put my finger on it, but he oozed something very manly and attractive. Perhaps a certain sex appeal I dare say? If the security moms were watching, I'll bet they vote for the man over the boy on Nov. 2nd.
Cheney is wonderful and is still one the sexiest men on earth.
