"All my friends are voting for Kerry, so I’ll probably vote Kerry. I don’t want Bush to make abortion legal and make us all go to war."

A potential "Jaywalking" All-Star < / Tonight Show reference>

.....as are most of these clowns.

"I’m a black man. I’m democrat. I have to be."

So basically the dimbulb who made the above statement was saying that his black ancestors should've been saying, "We're black people. We're slaves. We have to be". ooh boy, some serious bubble brains abound in America.

The area is extremely left-wing. (Kinda bizarre, considering that Kerry thinks they have too much money.)

Yeah, that's something that I never did understand. The "rich" are going to vote for someone who has OPENLY stated that he's going to take their money away from them. "She Who Must Not Be Named" EXPLICITLY took a page out of the communist playbook when she said that "we're gonna take that away from you, for the common good"... Are people really that stupid? /rhetorical ?

I drove over Beverly Canyon two weeks ago heading back into the SF Valley and there were Kerry/Edwards signs everywhere. I think that I did see one Bush/Cheney bumpersticker, but that might have been on a contractor's pick-up truck. If Dubya did well with those people...

I live in South Los Angeles, work in Century City, am black, and am a Republican. I see no dearth of Very/Leftwards signs...even saw a BS for Howard Dean...so to hear that there are those who do support the President is encouraging.

Not to be misunderestimated is that one of the greatest Presidents of all time is buried out here in Simi Valley. And there is no doubt that he was loved, his ideas worked (as much as the Left hated/hates him), and there is only one candidate in this race that has the spine to lead this country...

To quote Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele, it's "NOT JOHN KERRY!"

Greg Kelley of Culver City said, "I'm democrat and I'm voting Kerry/Edwards for sure. Bush won tonight's debate, but I'm still voting for Kerry. I’m a black man. I’m democrat. I have to be."

LMFAO

Someone give this guy Larry Elder's email address for a can of Whoop Ass rebuttle!

Better yet, email this article to him (although I'm sure that one of his assistants, Mr. Gingiss and Mr. Narcissian, are lurkers and already have it.)

I'd almost bet money that this guy calls the show, and Larry has already b-slapped him around. As a black man, nothing makes me angrier than to see fellow blacks (or anyone, for that matter) who just resort to voting and rationale based on racial criteria.

Was it Thomas Jefferson who believed that if a citizen was not familiar and did not understand the issues he should not be voting.

If so, TJ is right on the money. A civics/current events/American history test should be a requirement -- multiple choice, around 100 questions.

The truth is, Bush didn't so much win, as he reassured leaners who were skeptical of him. This is the key to the debates for incumbents. Reagan did it, Bush 41 did not (due not in small part to being attacked by both Clinton and Perot). Bush did it and you will see the polls track Bush's numbers very close to his approval rating.

If you were a Kerry leaner, Kerry didn't do badly. I still say that the truly undecided will break to Bush because Kerry is just so darned unlikeable.

It's not just Brentwood and BH. I'm over in Woodland Hills and it seems like the further south you drive (i.e. into more money) the more Kerry/Edwards signs you see. I notice a lot more Bush stickers and yard signs in Canoga Park.

It seems it may still take brains for most people to make big money.

The court of bvw convened last night and decided that case. the case of "Should we let dummies and the ignorant vote?"

My answer is yes. For our own safety we must encourage tham to vote -- in large numbers.

Why? As President Bush said, as Dan Rather demonstrates -- democracy is the only defense against tyranny. Rather tyrannized the airwaves and jammed crap down the minds of the dummies and the ignorant.

Only us unwashed, unshowered, unmanicured pajama wearers -- in his view we are ignorant, vile scum -- saved them from his tyranny.

When we restrict the voting to those who pass some test, that test would come to exclude those who oppose the tyrannts, the established oppressors.

Therefore we should welcome and encourage the ignorant, the dummy, and the scum to vote. We just have to win them over.

And that -- winning them over to the good, the informed, the honest -- that's the whole purpose. Of life, etc.

I think this article might be a parody.
