SECOND BRIGADE TRANSFERS AUTHORITY
CAMP BABYLON, Iraq The transfer of authority of the Multi-National Division Central South 2nd Brigade Combat Team occurred in a ceremony Oct. 7 at Camp Delta near Al Kut City in Wasit Province. Ukrainian Maj. Gen. Serhiy Popko assumed authority from Maj. Gen. Serhiy Ostrovsky.
During the ceremony, the second rotation of Ukrainian Forces officially handed over authority of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team to the third rotation of Ukrainian Forces.
The ceremony was supported by commander of the Multi-National Division Central South, Maj. Gen. Andrzej Ekiert, representatives of Multi-National Corps in Iraq and the governor of Wasit Province.
