TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Oct. 7, 2004 Elections officials asked prosecutors Thursday to investigate possible voter fraud involving 25 registration forms with apparently bogus addresses, including some that match a public park, a parking lot and a utilities building.
Two of the forms were filled out by individuals at the Duval County elections office and 23 were submitted by people who registered voters independently. Officials didn't immediately know who turned in the independent registrations, said Erin Moody, a spokeswoman for the elections office.
Moody said the 25 forms were turned over to the state attorney's office in Jacksonville. State Attorney Harry Shorstein indicated late Thursday that he hadn't yet seen the forms.
The disclosure is the latest wrinkle as the state tries to avoid problems reminiscent of the 2000 presidential race in which President Bush defeated Al Gore by 537 votes. The disputed election involved accusations that votes weren't properly counted and people were wrongly removed from election rolls.
Duval County had already registered the 25 voters before someone whom election officials declined to identify tipped them to the suspicious information. All but three of the individuals registered as Democrats. Two chose no party and one checked Republican.
The Associated Press checked each address and found only one that matched an occupied house. Most of the addresses didn't exist. Residents at the occupied house said they moved in this week and did not know the person registered at the address.
Several Florida counties have discovered problems with voter registration forms turned in by independent groups. Thousands are missing information, meaning thousands of people could find out Nov. 2 that they are unable to vote in the contest between Bush and Democrat John Kerry.
wow! ABC is covering this?
Voter fraud reaches an all time high.
I sure hope the GOP has people watching the polls come election day.
Now let's see if anything is finally DONE about vote fraud.
That would be arrests. With handcuffs.

The last time one of these miscreants was caught.
There are voter fraud stories everyday but I have yet to so anyone prosecuted or corrections to the process made.
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Prosecutors have dropped charges against a woman hired by the South Dakota Democratic Party to register people to vote in the 2002 election, saying they believe she forged voter registration applications but their expert witness doesn't agree.
At a hearing Wednesday before Judge Glenn Severson, Chief Deputy Attorney General Mark Barnett said the state's handwriting expert concluded the people who testified under oath that their voter registration cards were forged actually did sign the documents.

That's just great. And they won't release the name of this so-called "handwriting expert" who actually claims with a straight face that the people who say their cards were forged are lying. Unbelievable.
If it's in West Palm Beach county (where Rush L. lives) don't hold your breath.
It's a demoralizing disgrace.
I found this link on where to report voter fraud here:

Please Pass Emergency Anti-Vote Fraud Measure Immediately!
Vote fraud threatens the very core of our republic, and it directly threatens our sovereignty
Please send the following message to your Congressmen and Senators:
Please pass, on an expedited basis, emergency legislation to require voters to show ID at all polling places on Election Day.
Vote fraud threatens the very core of our republic, and it directly threatens our sovereignty. There is a significant amount of evidence emerging that evinces a wide-spread plot to engage in massive voter fraud. Thus, Congress must take immediate action to counter this potential menace.
Congress has the express power to dictate the time, place, and manner in which federal elections are held. The congressional power to make or alter time, place, or manner of federal elections extends to the regulation of voter registration. Federal regulation of the electoral processes, including the regulation of federal voter registration, is also consistent with the Tenth Amendment and permissible; although states do have broad discretion to enact and implement registration procedures, states may not transgress the Constitution. It follows that state voter registration and Election Day statutes that are inconsistent with federal voter registration and Election Day mandates are preempted.
As per the Federal Court in Byrd v. Brice, the government may require a voter to furnish proof of identity at the polling place on Election Day. Such a measure would go a long way in protecting citizens federal voting rights from fraudulent practices.
Please set to work immediately on enacting emergency legislation to require a valid ID at the polling places on Election Day.
