Not much of a history buff is Mr.Edwards. Our president #40 destroyed #39 by promising to abolish the US Department of Education, which was created by #39 upon being elected as a favor to the teachers unions. Amazingly, most people don't understand that the Department of Education has absolutely nothing to do with education. It's just a clearing house for monies.

#40 never followed thru with that promise and while I admire him greatly, I'll take it up with him one day in the hopefully distant future when I see him.

The funny thing about the Edwards argument over having met VP#43 is that every time he offers proof he met him, it's not in the senate! Brilliant setup! The more Edwards illustrates that he met the VP many times, not once was it in the senate, where Edwards is supposed to be! Adults in charge!

Someone else pointed out that every time that Edwards points out he met Cheney, it sounds like a little kid saying he met the prom queen, they were in typing together. The prom queen says "Who? Oh, uh, yeah, uh, I sorta remember you...I think."
