How can you fault the guy? Geez, botox and tanning sessions are time consuming.
Jeez, you'd think the people who live in the states these two boobs represent would be TICKED.
The Senate needs to enforce voting rules. Kerry is AWOL and needs to be picked up by the authorities and forced to participate in the needed votes. If that authority doesn't exist, it should. Those democRATS in Texas hid out and held up the voting. Why should a Senator be allowed to do this? Hey Kerry, step down now!!!

I've been trying to draw attention to it since the Marriage Amedment Vote. That's when I took a look at the record and was shocked.
If these guys cannot/will not do their current jobs, why should the American voters think they can do the jobs of President and Vice President.
I see your point, but everybody hates a deatbeat that doesn't show up for work - even liberals.

I understand why Kerry is not showing up in the 108th. He is running for President.
What I never heard were the voices of those who forced Senator Bob Dole to resign while he was running for President, saying that it was his duty to his State to do so.

Imagine if these dudes were Republican presidential candidates.
In late spring of 1996, Dole decided that he needed to focus all of his energies on capturing the White House, and his colleagues in the Senate needed a full-time leader. So on June 11, 1996, he said a tearful good-bye to his longtime colleagues and resigned from the U.S. Senate to devote all of his time and energy to his campaign for President of the United States. Senator Dole was willing to give up his career in Congress, which he considered it to be of great value for the American people.
