Lucky dog. I lost in the Sox playoff lottery. The Sox are all salivating for a playoff rematch.
will he SMACK it?
aye yi yi
Sorry, don't get the SMACK reference. Have some guesses (none of them good), but can't be bothered to check your post history right now, game's still on.
I figure it's inevitable, and it's also inevitable that it will go to a Game 7.
I can almost spit on the steeple from my rooftop.
Being awake at 2am never felt better!
The wife wanted to watch the game so I'm as late as you can be for a game thread-- but I'm here bleary-eyed at a quarter past two in the morning to celebrate the W! Let's all go out for breakfast!
You poor Red Sox fans. Don'tcha understand that they are putting out the worm so that you can be reeled in later in a heartbreaking sort of way?
I go through it as a Jets fan and can see it from a mile away.
Y'all never learn.
Well, I'm on my third cup of Dunkin' Donuts High Test this morning, but happy I stayed up for the game. Now it's back to Fenway for the Finale (we all hope). I'm still conflicted over the Twins vs. Yanks, though. The Sox have played the Twins tough all year, but the thought of extracting revenge for last year in the Bronx is hard to resist.
I'll be there. I've never experienced playoff baseball live before, and I can't effing wait. I hope I get to see the cap of the sweep.
they were all watching Lost on ABC
