Wispy record of Senate ghost By Bruce Bartlett Published October 6, 2004
One of John Kerry's biggest problems is he remains an enigma to most people. We all know more than we want to about his service in Vietnam, but very little about what he has done since. In particular, his 20-year Senate career is a blank.

Unfortunately, I'd feel a whole lot better if every senator and congressperson rarely showed up for sessions. It might also be a good idea that for every new chunk of legislation passed, first two laws need to be scrubbed off the books. I do think that the ten million(in 1995) or so laws which govern each one of us today are enough.
John Kerry was AWOL after he wasn't AWOL.
We need a cartoon of the seats in the Senate marked Kerry and Edwards. They should still be covered with the original plastic, accompanied by layers of dust. The other seats should be well worn. Wish I could draw.
Kerry and Edwards were AWOL from the Senate the last three years. This should be our mantra and the Bush Cheney mantra until the election.
John Kerry, The Man for ALL Reasons.
He was AGAINST AWOL before he was FOR AWOL.
He does poorly in any argument.
Why, GWB just said of kerry "Over the years, he's voted 274 times to break the federal budget limits." Somebody must have counted the number of votes. GWB probably should have added after "over the years" "On those occasions when he could be found at the Capitol".
Sen. Grassly (R, Iowa) has said he doesn't really know Kerry personally...
as Kerry rarely showed up for Intelligence Committee meetings...
Is there anyone who might have a list of the number of bills Kerry introduced during his time in the Senate? As well as a list of those bills the other Senators have introduced? If we could get a comparison then we would have more ammo to show that compaired to the rest of the Senate Kerry ranks in the bottom xx%. A proven do nothing Senator.
