When he said that crap about the screw that cost two cents, I was thinking, "Sure, those guys were scum if that story is true, but I'd bet they were afriad they'd get skeletonized by the trial lawyers if they admitted their error to anyone for any reason. And how much does it cost me, my family and my community every year to have everyone thinking about how not to get sued all day?
I think Edwards overestimates the esteem the public has for trial lawyers.
