There is no other domestic company in existence that could do the type of diverse work and job Halliburton does. Otherwise, the United States government would have to outsource that job to some other country, like for instance, Germany or France.... We all know what "fans" of outsourcing the Democrats have demonstrated themselves as. They absolutely hate it.

Agreed, and I had to fill out reams of paper and justification, plus lawyer review, if I wanted to sole-source a contract. It's not easy, nor should it be.
