Cheney did SO much better than Bush, was SO in command of much of this "debate," that it will be spun that this shows what a pathetic President W is Already heard it spun that way...not sure who said it, but it may have been Mary Beth Cahill.

Already heard it spun that way It was the predictable spin for when Cheney slapped the snot out of Edwards. I'm listening to a radio newsfeed that had various pundits commenting afterwards. A guy from the Wall Street Journal, whose name escapes me, said: "The big loser tonight was President Bush. Cheney had an authority and command of facts that really outshone the President. It gave credence to that old joke that Bush is just a heartbeat away from the Presidency." AAACCKK-ptooie!
