Sure. More people are interested in this than endless "it's raining!" hurricane stories.

I guess I should "chill out" It is better news than all of the uproar over polling data... did Bush grin, did he smile, why was'nt he prepared, Kerry is so presidential, Bush's face is yellow, Bush is toast, Kerry is handsome... it does tend to warp your mood.

Spoken like a drummer, sushiman. :-)

He has always been my favorite Stone. A terrific percussionist, Watts has never been one for the spotlight. He just does his job and then goes home.

I thought doctors say that nobody "beats" cancer (most cancers, that is) until they're cancer-free for five years???

Yep...sure is. All I ever needed to know about music I learned from Beethoven, George Jones and the Rollin' Stones.

Good for Charlie. It's odd how rock stars have been dropping like flys, but the Stones keep going on. I always thought that Mick was secretly a clean cut guy.

You never see the Stones stumping for a**hole candidates like John Kerry. They know that art transcends politics. Guys like Springsteen get increasingly political in direct proportion to their diminishing grasp of the human condition.

Today was incredible!!!
I worked with Mick F'N Jagger!!!!
MICK
As some of you know, I work in video production as a freelancer. Recently, I have been working on movie junkets. YESTERSDAY, I got booked to work in Manhattan on another movie junket. i worked with Jude Law in the AM & MICK JAGGER in the afternoon. I saw Marisa Tomei as well.
It was an extremely stressful day: See, I knew on Tuesday I would be working with Mick. I was psyched. I couldn't sleep. I prayed that it would work out as planned. I went to work. I saw my name on the schedule with MICK JAGGER!!!! I thought to myself: this is sick, surreal, incredible. Giggling to myself, I will pretend to be professional about this crazy thing. I felt like the guy in "somethin Crazy about Mary" sweating and breaking out in hives. My blood pressure was high, I could feel my heart rate. I have worked with many celebs, but only MICK & KEEF matter to me.
BUT THEN, Mick was switched to a different interview room. My extereme high had suddenly crashed. THIS COULD NOT BE! I was too close to this awesome event happen. I unprofessionally begged to have it switched back. After a few hours of sweating it out, I was switched into Mick's interview room, by the grace of 3 awesome co-workers who could not even name 1 Stones song.
I worked for close to 2 hours within 5 feet of MICK doing about 10 interviews for international coverage of the Alfie movie. Mick said they will be recording a new Stones album this year & touring next year. He talked about the new LICKS double CD. He said one CD is popular Stones tunes & the 2nd is not so popular tunes.
The day was incredible. Mick said he flew in today on a very rough flight from LA. I know he will be in NYC until at least Friday.
At the end of the day. I was able to get this one photo with Mick & a quick handshake. Mick waited to see if my digital photo came out be fore moving on.
Awesome. Awesome, Incredible. i can't believe it. I have the same shrill feeling as when I scored my theater tickets. :p :D :eek :evil

It's a gas gas gas!

In my band, we do a few obscure Stones covers. They are as much fun to play as our originals.

Gotta love Charlie and the Stones!

Springsteen and his ilk are fatuous bores. Clones without an iota of individual thought. They live in a vacuous hole and perpetuate a persona of a common bloke when in reality they are self-righteous blowhards.

What a relief! I can't tell you how great it is to hear that this group of degenerates isn't losing one from their ranks.
