I have no idea. My three can sleep for 12 hours, get up and pee, and go right back to sleep if they have a mind.
Don't get me wrong, they're not lazy and they go a mile a minute most of the time, but I know what you mean. If they wan't to lay in they have no equal. Me...ha! If I get 5 hours of straight sleep I'm ecstatic! Guess that's why I'm such a crab?

Yes, the election is energizing. I think Bush is going to win by 5% barring too much election corruption.
