Hey baby Red! How have you been? Me...I've been totally reconstructed and feel like the bionic alpha dog. Surgery wound up being about 3 times as extensive as they originally thought. And they said viriginity cannot be re-lived...HA!!!!!

Trixie is a cutie.
I think my dogs were born weighing more than her.
I'd just have to put her in my purse and take her everywhere.

Now that's the kind of good news I was hoping to hear today.
Give ol' Solly a big hug and sloppy kiss from me.

You are going to have to change your screen name to the BionicWoman.
I've missed the heck out of you.
Started out the day with good news today. Solitare's pathology report is clean.
Her hair is growing back, I don't have to call her Patches anymore.
After 14 months, my husband couldn't stand it anymore. We now officially have a couch dog.
Solitare has him wrapped around her dew claw. First it was head and shoulders on the couch and then one foot on the floor.
Last night she sat there with that adoring look ,mooning over him. I told him, if he lets her do it once it will be permanent.

Same here with our galumphin' galoot, Boudreaux. First it was one paw and now it's all 70 pounds of him - on your lap!
Are you gonna be around most of the day? I have to get off now and go take a rest. Never thought I'd turn into such a wienie. I sure hope my stamina comes back SOON!

I've had my moments lately...the other day, my car wouldn't start...my water froze...I couldn't get the kids to school! I was so bummed! Things are looking better now though.
Trixie seems to favor that leg, and sometimes the way she holds it makes me worry about it! She has got her momma so thoroughly wrapped!! LOL

Let it warm up before she gets groomed. In the meantime, braid it.
It was 8 Degrees here last night. Since the dogs aren't allowed on the bed, I slept in the floor with them.
120 lbs of dog is pretty warm.

A big puppy WELCOME to you Mike Bates from me. I've been absent lately due to surgery and have not yet caught up with the thread, so please excuse me if you've been posting and I'm not aware.
Now this little bit of Hope is about as precious as I have ever seen. What a love!!! Tell us about her and please post more pics if you have them.

70/80's!!!!!!! You rotten thing... but I am glad to see you're still your same ol' SA self! ;-0).
We went down to the 20's last night and it's mid 50's this afternoon. That is MUCH too cold for the deep south. Our thin blood can't take it.

IF I DIDN'T HAVE DOGS...
I could walk around safely barefoot in the dark .
My house could be carpeted instead of tiled and laminated .
All flat surfaces, clothing, furniture, and cars would be free of dog hair.
When the doorbell rang, it wouldn't sound like the SPCA Kennels.
When the doorbell rang, I could get to the door without wading through four or five (or seven) dog bodies who beat me there.
I could sit how I wanted on the couch without taking into consideration where several little fur bodies would need to get.
I would not have strange presents under my Christmas tree...like dog bones, stuffed animals and have to answer to people why I wrap them up .
I would not be on a first name basis with a vet.
The most used words in my vocabulary would not be:
potty, outside, sit, down, come, no and leave him/her alone!
My house would not be cordoned off into zones with baby gates.
My purse would not contain things like poop pick up bags and
dog treats.
I would no longer have to spell words such as:
B-A-L-L, F-R-I-S-B-E-E, T-R-E-A-T, etc.
I would not buy weird things to stuff into "kongs", or have to explain why I'm buying them, or what a "kong" is.
I would not have as many leaves INSIDE my house as outside.
I would not look strangely at people who think having ONE dog ties them down too much.
I would not have to answer the question why do I have so many dogs from people who will never have the joy in their life of knowing they are loved unconditionally by something as close to an angel as they will ever get.
Who else has a friend who considers them the MOST important thing in the whole wide world all the time?
